The work of CIVICs researcher Dr. Stacey Schultz-Cherry, together with her team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, was featured on an episode of NPR Morning Edition on November 24, 2019. The piece discussed the team's work on the effects of excess weight on flu disease course and also highlighted the CIVICs program as a new effort from the NIH to develop a next generation flu vaccine.
