We interviewed the Principal Investigators (PIs) responsible for leading each of the CIVICs Centers as part of a two-part interview series. In the first part of each interview, we focused on learning a little bit more about the Center PIs, and in the second part, we asked each PI to introduce us to their Center.

In this article, we interviewed the PI for the CIVICs Statistical, Data Management, and Coordination Center (SDMCC), Stephan Bour, PhD at Digital Infuzion.

What is one thing on your Bucket List?
I want to go back in time and meet Steve Jobs.

What is your favorite thing to do around town?
I don’t remember. Life lately feels like a long uninterrupted workday.

Are you a morning person or a night person?
I am a night person who wishes he could see a sunrise once in a while.

What was your childhood dream job?
I wanted to be a boat yard crane operator.
