The Duke CIVIC Vaccine Center (DCVC) hosted a hybrid annual retreat on May 4 and 5, the second retreat since the contract’s inception in September 2019. In total, 94 members of DCVC and NIAID joined the meeting, either in person at the DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park in Durham, North Carolina, or remotely via Zoom. Twenty DCVC investigators presented on product advancement or assay development, and time was allotted for moderator-led discussion following these scientific talks. Additional sessions were dedicated to data management and the transition of novel vaccines to GMP production.
